Where would you recommend I buy a near stock system? I'd like stock sound. Not so worried about NCRS restoration.

Gardner. Expensive, yes, but you will love the sound and quality of the system.

Gardner did not sell the original exhaust for 63 they made the muffler and center pipe in 2 pcs, original it was all one pc. other company's now make it correct and a much better price. I sent my chevelle pipes back to the Gardner suppler they hit the floor near the trunk, they where bent wrong.

I had good luck with the Corvette Central system for my '58. Other people not so much. I think it varies.

Yes, but have you actually purchased one of their systems for a Corvette.

If you want zero sound, buy the Corvette Central system.

If you want a little sound and a muffler that sounds like it is full of water, buy the Corvette Central N11 Off road system.

Ive also used Allen's off road mufflers and magnaflows....both sound decent, but i prefer the magnaflows over the allen's off road N11 mufflers.
