Kinda late now, but it's much easier to install the lower hose on the radiator outlet first, then install the radiator, then install the shroud, then connect the hose to the water pump.

Can't help on the technique except, put some kind of slick stuff on the rad outlet or the inside lip of the hose and orient the screw of the clamp so you have the best access to tighten. Dennis

I thought as much it was much easy ripping it out then putting it back in..
Thanks

I jacked up the front of the car and installed it from underneath. Used a soap and water solution on the two hose connections to provide some lubricity.
This hose can be installed too long (May need to shorten hose slightly) or with the wrong side toward the radiator. Take you time and sort it out. Use the old hose length as a guide for the new one.

Yup, agree with Bluestripe67 on something slick on the hose. I smear some axle grease around the inside of the hose and, yes, save yourself some grief and orient that screw clamp so you CAN tighten it easily. Also, be sure to re-install, if not already with the new hose purchased, the spring in that hose to prevent collapsing. As Powershift said, you can install that hose bassackwards. If your alternator is on the pass side, there's a good bet if that hose is installed backwards, you'll have a tough time not having the alternator belt touching/sliding on that hose.
