Default 1966 big block valve cover question

I see some 1966 big block Corvettes with different drivers side valve covers.

Some have a triangular "dent" in the lower rear and some don't.
Some have a spark plug wire stand and some don't. and the ones with the stand, some are before the top last valve cover bolt and some are after.

Are 390's and 425's different than each other?
Are power and non power brakes different than each other?
What would be correct for a 1966 390hp car?
Thanks

The drivers side with the dent or relief area is for power brake cars. if it dose not have the wire stand its more than likely for a Camaro Impala ect. as far as the stand placement I am not sure

66 BB covers all had the detent for the power brakes regardless of having power brakes. also, no wire stand for 66 cars, only 67 cars. also note that the wires were NOT put on the wire stand in 67 oddly enough, even though the stand was present.

What are you referring to as "wire stands"?

The tack welded bracket for the spark plug wire loom clips to on to. When they are present they are on the top rear corner of the valve cover either just forward or just rearward of the last top bolt. It seems all passenger side covers have them.

OK. Now I know what you were looking at. By the way, early BB valve covers had the indenture toward the front for the AC bracket on the left cover. It appears that they got these even if they did not have AC in the car. Mine has this.
