Looks like a stock '65-'67 Muncie shifter.

Thanks John!
Would you happen to know if the number listed is correct? I want to get this into the hands of someone that can put it back in a vehicle, but don't want to give out the wrong number.

Nope, don't know about the number - it's most likely the number of a component part of the shifter, not the number of the assembly.

The shifter appears to have the 64 to early 66 mounting bracket on it. This bracket allowed the shifter to be mounted on the transmission tail shaft housing. Late 66 and 67's, use a larger bracket, that mounted the shifter to the transmission crossmember.
The shifter is correct for any 64-67, with a Muncie trans, but to use it in a 66 or 67, you would need to change the mounting bracket.
I believe the number you found, is the casting number for just the lower part of the 64-67 shifter handle. I've seen the same number, cast into other 64-67 shifters.

Did you sleep at Holiday Inn again?
You certainly have likely forgotten far more than most of us ever knew!

I sold one at Fall Carlisle, for $250. The chrome was better on the handle, and I'd put a new set of rods on it, but it didn't have the mounting bracket. I think you should try to get at lease $200 for it.
