Ignition Wire Indentification Help Please
I have a Spark plug wire set from Delco-Packard that I am trying to identify. I have not been able to find any info on them. The person I got them from said he had acquired them for his C1 back in the day.
They do not have any date codes on them. The P/N on the box is 458-DA. They green boots have me curious. Can anyone shed a little light?
Thank you
Doug

I found 458-D in a '64 Delco parts book:
58 - 64 Chevrolet
61 - 62 Ford
57 - 62 Mercury
Maybe the A in 458-DA indicates Awful (color for the boots)

Boot color
If I remember correctly, back in the 1970's, Delco came out with some high performance ignition wires, and they had green boots to differentiate them from their standard line of wires.
