Default 64 wreck- auction

Correction this one is not a flood car. Thanks Railroadman for pointing that out. The 66 is a flood car

Interesting. Where does it say it was flood damaged? Or is it right in front of me and I'm not seeing it? Looking at the front end damage and the mashed steering wheel it looks more like it was in an ordinary collision.

Your correction prompted me to look at the '66 flood car. Interesting what has been stripped off the car before the auction! Bumpers, tail lights, handles, emblems......

It shows that collapsible steering columns were a good idea....
I wouldn't take it for free as the frame is badly bent...only a professional shop could fix that car and not be underwater value wise very quickly.

Hmmm, that's close to me. I go to Valdosta often to participate with a car club there. I've never seen that car before. I'll have to ask around about it.

It looks to me that the 66 was flooded while still in the body shop. There is still masking tape in the door handle openings and convertible top latch openings on the deck lid. Probably was in the last phases of restoration.

I can't see any seat belts in this thing. Always amazes me that people think they can defy physics in a car crash
Well I guess that steering wheel slowed him down after impact. Bet that felt good.
