engine builder in Miami
Who in the Miami area would be the best engine builder/re-builder for a stock '66 L36 (with an intent to keep things stock and no harm to stamp pad) ?

Sorry, but just got a reply from my contact in Miami and he doesn't have a referral.
He did however say it's hard to do a deck cut without touching the pad. I don't know what the process is to do that but I've heard it can be done.
Are you certain your block needs decking? It's rare for a block to need that unless it's been rusted.

If they can't do the work they can direct you to someone in Miami who can do your rebuild. Both shops deal mainly in older Corvettes. I have used both with great results.
