1963 coupe seat dimensions
I cannot seem to find dimensions for the seats in a 1963 coupe. The car is not close by and I am wondering if Porsche 991 turbo Carrera seats will fit.

After picking the turkey carcass clean and watching sports all day, I decided some exercise might be in order so i rolled off the La-Z-Boy and ambled out to the garage for ya. The seat bottom is approx 21" square and 7.5" from the floor to the top of the cushion. The seat back is 24" from the floor to the top of the headrest.

I know I may be getting soft but I like the feel of these seats and planning to drive this car. I ordered the chassis from Mike at SRIII and am reviewing some sketches. When this build starts I will begin posting photos.

Zoomin, Thank you for rolling out of the Lazy-Boy for me. I measured the 991 Recaro seats at 21 across, 7.6 off the floor, 28 front of cushion to back of seat, and about 36 to the top of the seat back. The rails are at 16" O.C..

about halfway as i recall. That was from the floor to the top of the side bolster.
These seats have tabs at the end of the tracks that slide into slots and the fronts bolt down as usual. Probably not too big of a deal in the scheme of things for you. What engine are you thinking of using?
