I don't normally do this but I am posting this in hopes it will help anyone who is looking for a camshaft. I just met and had lunch with Chris Straub ( http://www.straubtechnologies.com/) and his crew. I must say that they are all very genuine and nice guys and when it comes to camshaft knowledge, Chris is one of the best around. In addition he is very personable and dedicated to providing not only an excellent product but great customer service and support as well. For anyone who is currently searching for a cam or will be in the future I suggest you contact Chris to discuss your camshaft needs. I am on my third Straub camshaft ( 2 big blocks and now a small block) and I can honestly say that I am very pleased with the product AND the customer service and support. Here is a short video of a Straub hydraulic roller cam in my 427 ZL-1 engine.

Thanks Chris and crew for your support.....

Rex,
Thanks for the information.
Also the video of the 67 looks great and sounds like a big block should.

Thanks for the kind words Bruce. I urge anyone who is thinking about a new cam or changing cams to at least call Chris. Chris can grind a cam suited to a customer's particular engine / car/ trans / driving style combinations. Most cam companies offer their "generic, off-the-shelf" cam and this is not always the best choice. It would be worth the call. http://www.straubtechnologies.com/
