Default '61 Headlights

Does anyone have a recommendation on the currently available best (pattern/brightness} headlights that will fit in a stock headlight bucket on a '61? I'm planning on installing relays. The car has a stock generator.

I would think an alternator would be a better choice for what you want to do.

I recently installed a relay on my 1960 and then installed halogen low beams; significant difference in illumination. I was getting 10 volts to the lights and after installing the relay, 11.6.

The alternator is the best way to go and then the relays. With angel eye halogens I was getting 12v at the low beam but the stock switch couldn't handle the high beams. With relays low and high both getting in the 13.5. On my lights I had to modify the buckets.
