new rad verse recore
I have read about a lot of new rads for old cars, or a lot of guys on this forum buying new rads, and not re coring the old one. Mine is a1960 standard brass/ copper, can't tell for sure but it's a 3 or 4 row rad, with horizontal tanks "Harrison", if it is $ only I can check out that, is there something else???? Chip

I thought original were stacked plate aluminum. Those can't be re-cored. If it is indeed copper any decent radiator shop can re-core it for you

In '60, solid lifter engines were cooled by aluminum, "top tank" radiators. Hydraulic lifter engines were cooled by copper/brass radiators.
