Default I wanted it RED, but.............

I wanted to redo my 62 in a brighter color than Roman Red, so I picked PPG's Hot Red. It looks really nice, just got it shot at the paint shop, not buffed yet. I hope it is not too bright for the factory red interior. I guess if it is it will just have to clash. This is with a flash, so maybe it is not too far off.

If you paint the coves a really bright white or a bright silver that would look awesome. But if not that is a really bright red.

Looks on par with Torch Red from 1993 through... whatever year they decided to change it. It's one of my favorite reds.

Use a beige interior and you'll be in business.

Well, if I had a little more foresight I would have, but as I have been accumulating parts, I already have red door panels, complete seats and have all the complementary interior parts painted red. I actually thought (after the fact) that it would probably look pretty good in saddle tan or a neutral color. Oh well. Maybe with the top on it, there will be enough separation where it doesn't look weird. Thanks

Looks nice! A good tape job always makes me think the painter took care in other aspects.

Besides people don't buy corvettes to blend in.

BC/CC and yes, homemade spray booth. He does fantastic work. He'll get what few nibs out and will look like glass. I've seen lots of his work.
