Default S 10 Rim for spare wheel tub in c2

Somewhere I read these would fit as an emergency spare, not only the 5 lug pattern but also inside the spare tire tub. Can't find the thread in the search, so gotta ask. For my 64. Can get a 94 S10 wheel pretty reasonable. Thanks.

Mine looks just like the one pictured above. Just remember, if you have posi (and I do) then if the diameter of the S-10 spare is different than your regular tire you can't use it on the back (not for long anyway). You'll have to do a double tire change and move a full size tire to back and put the spare on the front; otherwise you can wear out the clutch pack.

I used one for awhile (from a 1998 S-10) and then I took a look at the rubber on the tire. That thing is so badly cracked, I'm glad that I never needed to use it. Same goes for the spare that is currently under my 1998 S-10.

Mine has never been on the ground and was stored in climate-controlled storage its entire life. I don't ever intend on using it....Green Slime and AAA come first...S-10 spare is for the zombie apocalypse.

Thanks for the info/replies, now I know exactly what to look for. I too will most likely just call the flatbed if/when needed, but I want to re-install my spare tire tub with something workable. Seems having that spare in back also adds a bit of safety in case of a rear-ender. Happy New Year to all !

What you want is an S-10 compact T155/90D 16 spare with a 4-3/4” bolt pattern.

I don't know how true this is for a C1/C2, but interestingly enough the Yugo was designed/engineered to place the spare tire under the hood for exactly this reason.

When the car was crash tested, the guys running the test removed the spare tire which negatively affected the already dismal impact results.

I read this book which gives a great account of the worst car ever made:
http://www.amazon.com/The-Yugo-Rise-Worst-History/dp/B0085SJ21M http://www.amazon.com/The-Yugo-Rise-Worst-History/dp/B0085SJ21M

Just thought I'd share.

After reading the book and learning so much about the Yugo I had to find one. I eventually did and took some pics. Here's one under the hood. IIRC, the guy selling wanted $6K for the car.

In this size there are other Chevy GM spares like for the Colorado truck. Does anyone know if these wheels will work on a C2?

I believe the use of the 155-90/16 instead of the 145 (which would also bolt up,) mostly eliminates the threat of hurting the Posi.
