Thanks Guys, The shop is finishing up the wet sand and buff. I should see it soon. Can't wait to get her put back together and see it in the sun.

It was painted in lacquer in 1985. It looked good when I got her in 2004.
She held up pretty well until about two years ago. Then bubbles started to appear on the rear. I put up with it for a while then the following year more bubbles appeared on the other side. It was obvious the problem wasn't going away.
I was going to have it spotted but when I looked close I noticed that there was some kind of an issue with most of the body panels.
I have done work for the owner of the shop, Excalibur, so I know they do top notch work. I also had my 96 collectors painted there years ago.
Gonna make this spring even more exciting.

Awesome. Your picture above linked to your photo account with lots of nice pictures, including a 2012 picture where the car looks very sharp, so it was unclear why it was being painted. Beautiful car.
