Default Progress on '62!

Progress on the '62!

The belly of the car is finished and the entire body placed onto the frame.

The bodywork has been completed, and should be ready for final prime and paint.

I can't wait to get this back on the road!

Geeze Pat. that thing will be way too nice to drive anymore when you get it finished.

Are you thinking about bringing it up to Grants Pass again this summer for the big get together?

Russ

To clarify...

It was stolen during the Monterey Peninsula’s Classic Car Week...

Hey Russ,

I'm trying like heck to have it ready by then, as we would love to come to Grants Pass again. That's a great show as well as a beautiful area!

Thanks for all the comments and encouragement!

I'm trying to post the 4 link pics, but I keep getting a message that my security won't allow it?

I'll have to get my son in law to help!

Pat

I know exactly what you're saying Russ!

But you know how it is....once it's apart, well I may as well do this, and I may as well do that. I think it's referred to as "project creep" and I got it bad!

Fortunately I have a four post lift, so I'll be able to keep it somewhat clean underneath.

Simply amazing Pat!
I'm itching to hear how your four link hooks up after all things are back together.

Is that the same Makeup and HP engine as before?

Who is the vendor/maker of the Wheels?

No, I went ahead and changed the engine as well. It's "supposed" to have a lot more power and HP than the old motor!

I had originally built it to install into our Nomad, but the Nomad is on hold for awhile as the Vette is more important to us.

The wheels are produced by Team III wheels. They are out of San Leandro.

The project looks awesome. Is the 4 link a Jim Meyers? How is it painted? Pretty straight forward install?

Thanks, Steve
