If you have done modifications to your tunnel to fit the T56 6 speed trans could you please post a picture. I am about to do the LS1,T56 swap and want ideas. thanks

into a 64, 2002 LS1 from a Camaro and a converted (repaced input shaft and front cover) 1996 T56 from a Camaro

Can't help with that one, but I put a T-56 from a '94 Camaro into a '62 and that did require some tunnel modification.

Not a C2, but my 58, the T56 fit fine (with a LS3) with no clearance problems at all. I have at least 1.5" above the case and between the body. I did have to alter the shiftier position by about 1.5" however the glass work you see was made to correct a previous alteration and fix the tunnel. Brian
