Looks like they have the quarter sitting off from the quarter bonding strip by a good bit in the picture, but if they can really fit a 315 without hacking into your tub, I'll be damn impressed. I don't see how that is possible though. Whose quarters did you purchase?

All the work is being done in S Dakota. They make their own flares. I'll know more in the next couple days where we end up on size. We are thinking 275's in the front.

i realized what I said above was incorrect. With the stock frame, you can only go as far over as the frame and that is also where the internal wheel well ends or interior side of tub begins. It's hard for me to wedge in a 315 on a restomod with a new frame and tubbed wheel wells, so I can't imagine a 315 fitting on a stock frame with offset trailing arms. Maybe a 285 with the wider quarters and super offset trailing arms, but I could be wrong. Kind of one of those things you need to see in person. Regardless, I like the set up. I just wish it was less expensive.

Custom Image Corvettes is class act team on every level, I am also a little biased toward your Ridetech suspension as well. I look forward to seeing this car come together!!!

I've got a ZZ4 crate motor with a TPI Miniram EFI. Engine's been worked over and dyno'd at 418 BHP. Chassis Dyno'd at just over 300 rwHP. I was very frustrated that I lost that much HP through the drivetrain (700R4 & 3.55 gears)
Down the road I might swap it out for a LS3 or maybe even an LT1. Hard decision because the current motor runs so well. Has as much Torque as my LS3 powered C3.

Don't worry about how much HP/TQ you have or don't have at engine's crank or rear wheels if you are building this car to drive. I'm sure you'll be able to overpower the rear wheels (spin them) on the street and impress some with smoke and black streaks if you feel the need to show out and try to prove it can do that.
Just tell people the truth and use crank HP and TQ numbers instead of rear wheel numbers if that will make you feel better. You can also just boost your HP numbers too, if that will make you feel better. You want be the only one who does that, nor the last one.
See Static HP/TQ are bragging numbers that only comes up when car is parked and the hood is up. You are not required to prove them. They are the only thing most have to brag about. They use Static HP/TQ numbers to compesate for the appearance of the rest of car. You won't have a problem with your cars appearance so why worry about Static HP/TQ numbers.
The fall back you can use if the numbers make you feel bad, is "Drive More", "Park Less", no "Worries" then about HP/TQ numbers that way. Works for me..

Time for an update & lots of pics. The body work is all done, and the gel coat has cured for about 10 days. We ran into a few small problems, but all fixed. We had a hell of a time getting the rear Ridetech setup installed because of the prior mods (82 Batwing rear end installed in 1997), but it's all good now. We also had some alignment issues that took a while to work out.
Here are the latest pics with gel coat. We go into paint in the next week or so. The pic with wheels are not my wheels.... mine are ordered and will be delivered in 3 weeks. I'm hoping we will be all done in 4 weeks.
Check out the "hips" on this girl!!!
