Default Rear cross member with isolation mounts

Put new rubber isolation mounts in aft cross member and looking at the cross member it looks like its different thickness from front to the aft side ... Is there a forward or aft side to this cross member?

I can't picture it in my mind but I think the is a front and back. Aren't the bolt holes for the diff in a specific pattern? If so the cross member must be mounted for proper bolt hole alignment with the diff. Not sure though. Check the diff mount holes.

No, there's no front or back - that crossmember is symmetrical.
