Default 58 - Trying to determine if engine / tranny are straight

I'm trying to figure out if my engine and tranny are sitting straight on the frame.
Why do I want to check this measurement you may ask...well, I have a Muncie transmission and someone down the line modified the transmission support to fit the Muncie and I'm not sure how accurate it is. As you know, if the tranny position is off (in respect to left/right), then the engine will be off.
There are a lot of frame diagrams, but I have never seen a diagram showing measurements from the frame to the engine or tranny.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You can get this plate from CC for the Muncie then see if it lines up. Was your transmission crossover modified? Also, it has been talked about in the past that you should add one inch spacers between the transmission cross member and frame. Does your shifter come out of the tunnel in the correct location? You can use the ashtray and the console to check. I am running a Muncie and it fits correctly with the adapter and spacers. The hurst shifter is dead center in the transmission tunnel and shifter console.

It's the crossover that was modified.

Get another crossover... That's not good! What kind of modification? The retainer too?

I don't know if there is a need to get a different cross over...it has worked for 30 years and is in good shape, however I can see some modifications on it that look like they were professionally done. The car use to be a race car.

Ok, not sure to how tell you whether or not it is straight? If it lines up then I guess that's the only way to of telling with the console.

It might be a matter of someone telling say the distance from the left bolt on the bell housing to the side of the frame is ______ and the on the right it is ____.
I was actually hoping there would be a diagram showing me perhaps the center of the drive shaft to the a point on the frame is what on both sides.
