Default dashboard installation and rewire

I am rebuilding a 1964 corvette frame up. I have now gotten to the point of installing the dash with rewiring dash harness. It seems that I can rewire the dash, install pads, clock, radio, etc on my workbench and install in one piece to the car. Am I missing anything? This just seems too easy compared to doing the rewiring on my back with the dash installed. I know its never that simple, but this seems much easier since the dash is already off the car. Am I overlooking anything?

I can see why it was done that way....its very easy to triple check everything, route harness and wires and hopefully "get it right". thanks for your input. This is the only way I would work on the cluster problems in the future, but I don't expect any.

You are aware that the dash panel gets bonded just under the radio. Just do not forget about that.
