Default Painting My L76 Engine

So the engine block, repainted the orange color. On the L76 engine, I have seen both ways....with the overspray of orange on the bottom part of the intake manifold and some that were just painted a silver color with no overspray. Someone told me that the one with no overspray is no less correct as they were done both ways from factory...is one more correct for the L76 1965 engine?

Generally, the orange overspray on the edges of the L-76 intake that got past the vacuum-formed plastic masks was covered with dull silver paint when they sprayed the adjacent bare cylinder head surfaces, which left some dull silver overspray on the dark phosphate intake bolts.
