Seats came out yesterday, no problem. Now how is the seat belt next to the door fastened? Can I remove these? My belts are trash.

There is talk of a reconciliation but some demands for clean up need to be met first.

Question people, am I correct in assuming that my car is a 390hp version if the tach reads a 5500RPM red line?

Also I my friend has a 1966 Corvette Coupe 427 390hp red on red unrestored needs a little bodywork numbers not matching but still a 1966 427 390hp engine that he wants 40K for. Deal or no deal?

Hard to say based in the description. You know the fellas will want photos. It could be a good running solid BB needing little bodywork (probably a deal) or it could be a thrashed car with rust creeping up and attention to every aspect (no deal)

Well, I sold my 1970 El Camino today. Looks like I have the money to powder coat my frame.

I need to soak all of the nutz with Liquid Wrench and start taking everything off of the frame? Do those seat belt cables come off ? At the rear crossmember.

Ok enough procrastination. Tomorrow I will start disassembling the frame. What about those seat belt cables? How do they come out at the crossmember?

Hey Robert,

The project looks great! Nice to see it all apart. The fun begins with putting it back together.

Also, don't mean to snoop, but I like the other items in the back-round of the garage!
