Default 4 speed tranny's in C2s & shifters ??????

When were Muncie trannys first installed in C2s & I assume they were BW T-10s before that. Is the same Hurst shifter & install kit used for C2s regardless of whether it is a Muncie or T-10?
This?

Muncies were installed in '63s beginning sometime in mid-production. Early '63s continued to use T-10 transmissions.

The shifters might be the same for the two transmissions, but the install kits would be very different.

When did Hurst start packaging their shifter with no installation kits? My shifter cost a little over $300.00 back in the 80's and included everything to install it on the car. Now they seperate the installation kit.

I went through Ebay to determine how much you will spend in getting this used shifter. I came up with approximately $450.00. That is for the shifter body, installation kit, handle, **** and shipping. I could not find what the full kit would cost for one to fit the C-2. I did find ones for the 442 and the Chrysler products of these years vintage and they run over $500.00. I assume the Corvette units would be in the same dollar ball park. Good luck whichever way you go in this.
