I didn't realize how lucky (or misled) I was in obtaining a 63 with it's original block.

My old 66's original block is a boat anchor in the river . You could probably find it with divers and metal detectors. Not much wrong with it really, needs a sleeve......

My '67 300hp engine (and trans and diff) is the original - not many folks mess with base engines.

I put a correctly numbered SB back in and will tell the next owner the true story. Provenance seems to taken hold with our cars so I see it as no Hindrance to a sale. I'm second owner. Al W.
