I have been there several times, nice people. I believe they enjoy a better than average reputation. I know two CF members who have bought corvettes there. With that being said, I wouldn't buy a corvette from them w/o an expert doing an inspection.

agreed. And if you use the search window you can find lots of feedback in old threads about them and any other major dealer.

Remember they are just anther used car dealer like you have in any small town. The only difference is there inventory. Know what your buying and do your homework.

Contract with Provette67 on the forum to do an inspection, I am sure it would be worth the money.

I bought my '67 from Mershon's and had a PPI by one of the recommended members of this forum. There's just so much that can be seen during such an inspection so don't expect him to catch everything. In my case, there was a lot of suspension and brake issues that weren't obvious until the car is up on a lift. Even so, I'm glad I bought mine and have since had all those mechanical issues repaired. As for Mershon's, I had no real issues with them.

I had a bad experience. I bought a midyear and they delivered it to me. They told me everything worked and I had to fix 9 or more things. Also I asked how the frame was and they told me they can't check every car for frame damage. Had to replace trailing arms and a cross member. Best check or have someone check it out.

The same could be said about any seller. I have much worse descriptions from private sellers than most dealers. As others here have said if you don't know what you are looking at or can't look at the car yourself have someone that knows what they are doing look it over.

i have purchased 3 vehicles over the years with them. and they sold
a 409 for me. they put all the vehicles on a lift for me to look over
and i could take my time. these are used cars and very old ones at
that. on my 63 the rear went out in less than a year. they picked it
up and paid for the new rear. my cousin has purchased several
vehicles also and he knows dan the owner. if you do not know
what to look for have someone look over the vehicle for you. they
are in the business to make money period. jmho jim
