Default C1 Fuel Cell

Anyone put their gas tank into the spare tire area in the trunk on a restomod?

Pros?

Cons?

My car is mini tubbed with no convertible top but thinking the fuel cell in the trunk might be a better idea?

Or do I need to up my meds?

5 gal. fuel cell and battery in trunk. Not mini-tubed, but roll cage in soft top storage / gas tank area.
Pros - better weight distribution and lighter overall weight.
Cons - limited range, but this car is not street driven.
If I were doing this for a street driven car I would build a custom tank to fit in the spare tire well.

Since his car is tubbed, he probably is not worried about a spare
