Finally able to purchase a C2
Hello, bought a 64 coupe, It meet about all the criteria in my 1yr hunt.
Real original car, I am really big on original paint cars. I have been reading and learning a lot on C2, real excited for this summer, if it ever gets here? The day before i bought it, defiantly need a couple of days of cleaning.

Welcome to the Sting Ray Owners Club! Just a little bit of cleaning up and your '64 will be perfect.

Congratulations.....I always like to see another 64. Great looking car, and in my favorite Daytona Blue color too....
Best of luck with it......
Just curious. what's the wire across the rag joint for? , a ground wire missing somewhere?

thanks guys appreciate the comments, question I bought oil cap correct fuel filter and bracket, battery tray hold down j bolts, radiator cap, floor mats little things that are missing or rigged, installed said items good servicing and drive it. my question is, the rear axle back exhaust is junk, it needs to be replaced asap, I love the side pipes, i know 64 did not have them but i really like them, I have been told by two people to not put pipes on that car? It would be a kit from allans. any body have thoughts on that?

You may already be aware, but just thought I'd mention to be sure to use the proper fluids ie posi lube, oil, etc.

If you put side pipes on there, you'll have to cut some fiberglass and put some holes in the frame to hold up the tail ends...

I put sidepipes on my '67 when the exhaust needed replacing because I already had a set. My eyes love them, my ears not so much. Before you make this change, try to drive or it least ride in a car with them.
