I need to replace the torque converter in my 62 (powerglide). For those of you who have done this, how difficult is it without using a lift?
Can I drop the trans just far enough to exchange the converters? Any tips are appreciated.

Having removed a T-10 4 speed from a 62 using jackstands and a creeper is a bear in its own right. A Powerglide trans weights quite a bit more than a 4 speed. I would not recommend doing this project without proper equipment.
