Mickey Thompson ramjet fuel injection adjustment machine ??
hi guys , I am not sure I have this post in the correct menu , but here it is .
While I was waiting for my pizza to be cooked ,I was chatting with a elderly gent [ I am 55 ], who told me about racing his 1965 corvette fuely [ circa 1965] , he told me he would adjust the fuelie unit with a box with gauges sold my Mickey Thompson, any idea of what is Mickey Thompson looks like ??
has anyone heard or seen one ?/
just curious , spring is here and getting the time to work my vette again bug.

Yes, probably a version of the Manometer previously noted that is required to properly adjust and setup the FI unit. I have one that I used when setting up my 65 FI unit and found it to be a pretty useful tool once you understand how it works. Mickey Thompson racing may have tweaked one to their own needs and suited to their unique modified setups back in the day when the mechanical fuel injections was the hot ticket for racing. Lots of mods to engines, FI units and the various tools being done by those guys.

hi guys , I am familiar with the manometer a ball buster to use , the old sun air to fuel machine was easier to use [ if the unit is working properly] , the old gent told me in was in a black box , he also told me it was easier to us than the Gm [ manometer ] to use .
just hoping someone had seen one , as you never know what we'll find at a garage sale , many thanks, grumpyhi

I would expect to find one in a black box for transport to and from any racing environment to protect it from damage. You might find one at the Peterson Museum. Dennis
