I'm on a roll. 64 getting major facelift
After a frame off (every bolt and washer) about 11 years ago, she's going under the cosmetic knife with a new paint job, interior and factory side exhaust.
I've been steadily (translation: slowly) making progress.
Today I removed the windshield. Not for the faint of heart.
Found a little rust on the cowl - very minor.
Birdcage is remarkably sound
Removed the heater box and core
The heater box would no longer mate to the venting - until I fixed it with fiberglass and structural adhesive
Carpet before:
Carpet after:
Employing child labor to save money
Glove box door refinish

That interior looks Daytona Blue to me.....I think these seats belong in your car!
Wolfman
P.S. I hope you car isn't called "The Pork Chop Express"!

I am in awe of you guys that do projects like this. I have the attention span of a gnat. How you can keep going for years is just incredible to me. May hat is off to you.

I did. But I left some things sort of half-assed because I did the complete project in 18 months (long story...)
It was recently hit and run in a parking lot so that forced a repaint.
Last time I painted it, I didn't take all the door and windshield trim off. This time, I'm working with a pro painter who insisted on removing everything.
I also never liked the door gaps and general body fitment. We will be fixing that.

You are correct. This car is a resto mod that was headed to the scrap heap. It's nowhere near original. I like the factory side exhaust but couldn't afford it 10 years ago.

You are correct - it used to be blue. I changed it to silver and black. Most of the blue you see was hidden. I'll be removing the dash and dying it again.
At some point the car was yellow. It had about 9 paint jobs on it. I stripped it down the the glass and brought back all the lines that were sanded round. It looked like a Vette squeezed out of a toothpaste tube.
