this raised a eyebrow on the NCRS site. this car is deemed counterfeit, the builder is banned from NCRS, and in 2014 the "documents" sent in to be validated and of coarse they turned out to be fake.

Who is the "we" that sent documents in to NCRS?

I am still curious who the current owner of the car is that bought it from Greg Wyatt? Probably sitting in a bar drinking heavily if they have read this thread. Wonder what price the car was listed at.

I don't think there was any deceit at Greg's. I'm also not sure the buck needs to stop at Greg, more than anyone else

Well not sure about anyone else, but I decided to email Greg this thread along with a link to the car in question. I will respect his wishes and not post his response as this is what he asked.

A lot of people- me included- have stood up for him. I like him, I've posted many times on many threads about his quality stuff and gracious ways. Why would you write back just to say he talked to you but won't say anything more? I would think if he asked you to stay mum it would be best not to post anything. I feel baited to ask why, and I guess that was the intent.

That's Noel Grace - loooonng history of building fake/rebodied/restamped/"created" cars with fake documentation; most people who know Corvettes know that any car owned/restored/promoted/entered by him should be surrounded by big, RED flags.

Does anyone know what this white car sold for?

Within the last year there was an all black big block 67 listed in the CF For Sale thread just like the one Grace has on his website. It was very nice and was listed for about $89,000. The car sold in a couple of weeks and the seller advertised the car as a non original engine. If I remember correctly, the car was bought from BJ and the seller latter found out the car was not right. Anyone know if Grace was involved in that car? Similar story as this white car.

Is he the guy that kept bringing a Black/Red 67 435 with different tank stickers each time & sold it at BJ showing a piece of cut out gas tank with a tank sticker on it? Trouble is the tank piece was shinny new. Think this Corvette was the one of the reasons that BJ decided to get NCRS involved.
