Need photos of 1961 VIN tags
My '61 apparently has a slightly defective VIN tag in it that there is a space between the last two digits. At Lakeland NCRS I was informed that it should never have left the factory like that (but then this isn't the only Vet with a small anomaly). So I'm doing more research on the VIN tags for '61s. I'd like to get about 10 other tags for an article that I'd like to write.
Since I need high resolution pics please e-mail them to me. If you'd like more information about the car (name, state, color) in the article also include that. Obviously at least the VIN tag photo is going to be in the article.

If you want them emailed John, don't you think you need to provide an email address?
When you do I'll send you a 4 MB hi-rez pic of my original, never disturbed VIN tag on my May '61 car.

On my 61 tag the number begins below and before the 'chevrolet' with the center of the '8' in 10867 split by the midline of the 'C' in chevrolet.
Other tags I've seen have the same offset alignment.

Here is mine
Is is a repop. Just well aged by moi.
Yours may be too, IMO.
There is another thread on here showing original tags vs repops.
Your plate font looks correct for an earlier car, like mine is,, but not for a '61.
Find the other thread and look at all those fonts, especially the C and O. The difference were pretty obvious in that thread, i can't really say for sure just looking at your tag vs mine.
The company that makes these, apparently uses the same tag for the 1960 cars as the '61 and '62 cars, but there is a diff between earlier tags and later ones, in real life.

Me bad again. I thought you could send an attachment after you clicked on the name to send an email - but no such option exists.
My regular address is johngammel - and of course it's at gmail.com (I'm an android guy).
