Looks good, you will appreciate the insulation on down the road. I use to think about horsepower, now cabin temperature ranks near the top of the list. Keep up the good work and enjoy.

OK, this weekend, I installed the passenger seat and put the shifter back in.

Tonight I mounted the lower control arms to the subframe. And assembled the passenger side spindle.

I have to go to the welding shop tomorrow to see if i can find a couple pieces of H beam to make the front spacers out of.

Couldnt get the h beam today... I'm going to try another place tomorrow.

Mounted the upright on the passenger side upper control arm. I can't find the spring in the garage. It's latE. I'll have to look more tomorrow.

Got the mechanical advance straightened out(12.5* @2700) I just put the distributor down. Got my pertronix in. Realized I bought the wrong coil and wire looms. I should have the right stuff tomorrow.

Got my order from zip today. got the extra pair of caster shims, the lower shock retainers and some other bs parts.

I feel like I've got the momentum going now..

Rich,
If you ever need a piece of steel, I'm right in Rocky Hill.
I'm building a 58. My engine looks a lot like yours.

I will give you a call this week Jim.

Finished plumbing the fuel line up to the carb. I mounted a ball valve on the frame so I can change the 4 micron filter without pouring the contents of the tank on the ground. Still need to install the oil pressure switxh and fuel pump relay

And I finished putting the subframe together. It went pretty good. kind of hard getting the shock retainers on with the new gas shocks. But at least it's done.

After a long battle my spacers are finished. Got them bolted in and. Bolted the subframe back in. Put the drivers side brakes on.

Default I drove it!!

Got my 3rd arm straightened out. There was a slight bend in it (Thanks for the pictures Jim). Finished the brake lines. Installed a mopar master cylinder. Had a friend of mine tow it to the alignment shop.

Turns out my passenger side upright is bent. I've got 2* of camber on that side with the adjuster cammed all the way over. It will have to wait until this winter.

Changed the oil in it and just put 40 miles on it.

It's surreal that it's a running driving car. Ive had the car for going on 20 years and it's never been on the road in any kind of decent shape until now.

Still need to get my 8" steel wheels on the back.

Theres tons of other things wrong with it but it doesn't matter. I'm so happy to see it this far along now.
