Freddie the pink told me that you may be able to give me some and advice on installing an air conditioner in my 60. I put a vintage air in a 61 a long time ago. I see that paragon, Corvette Central etc. have AC and heat units they sell for the straight axle. I was curious on any problems you May have encountered, and the type of unit you installed. And of course how well it is working.

George I sent Tom and Monte Hagman emails to get back to you here....

They both have Vintage Air A/C in their C1 cars; both are pretty happy with it but did have to overcome some fitment issues...

I earned my current forum name when I won first place in the C1 class two consecutive years in the "Wonderful World of Corvette" show in Kissimme, FL. You should have both pm and email regarding how to contact me. If you are SACC member, check out the article in the summer 2014 edition as well. There have been number of threads here on CF as well.

Both Monte's 61 and my 60 are doing fine with the Vintage Air, and now I would recommend all electric fan cooling.
