Default Funny story from the shop tonight

I was out working in the shop after dinner tonight. It was a beautiful night. My youngest (Jessie 4 years old) came out to check on dad's progress on mommy's car. I was working under the hood pulling hoses and cleaning things up. Jessie began to tell me all about Corvettes. The story went a little like this.

Jessie: Daddy, I know all about Corvettes.
Me: Really Jess?
Jessie: Yea daddy. Corvettes are made to help animals.
Me: They are Jess? How so?
Jessie: A Corvette carries Band-Aids and shots for animals. And if they are sick, they can make them better.
Me: Realy Jess? Isn't that what a veterinarian does?
Jessie: Well of course daddy. You silly. What do you think the veterinrian drives?

Directly from the mouths of babes..... You just can't make this stuff up.

I love it when they say stuff like that. My 3 year old grand daughter is always coming up w/cute stuff. She also loves to help Papa wash his "red car" (also known as the 64).

My 4 year old always wants to help to. Last night I'm working on that window felt liner and she comes busting through the door with a hammer and screw driver saying I'm ready to help dad. Nothing will grab your attention faster than that

It's funny that you say that Railroadman. In the picture below, this was her mommy some 30 years ago (girl on the right). And yep, it's the same car??? So yea, there is a pretty good chance Jessie will be a future Corvette owner too.

Always great when/if your kids take an actual interest, even just with thoughts and comments in their own way...
