Rob,
I posted about a year ago inquiring as to why my '65s front end appeared high (to me). The fine folks here advised me to measure the four reference points to the ground, which I did. My front was not high, but the rear was low instead. I was then advised to check the rear spring link bushings which were indeed shot to heck. I replaced them (easy job), and viola' my '65 was back to factory specs for height.
BTW, mine shows evidence of having been used for towing in the past (including hitch holes in the rear bumpers).

You have brought that car a long ways from what it was when you hauled it home. Very nice.

If that silver or silver blue car is yours, it looks like it sits too high in the back as it is. The front looks like it is way too high.
Hard to tell front that angle though.

I don't have my cars here but if you measure from the body character line running over the front and rear wheels to the ground and post it here, several will be able to tell you if your car is in the ballpark.

Ron, I am really stinking up the internet world today, and cannot make my scanner link with my IPad, or even link another thread to this one.
However, for now, if you click on my screen name, statistics, and threads started by Easy Rhino, and click on the one named "Front End Sitting Too High" you can find the advice that fixed mine, thanks to the folks on this forum.
