That's a decent deal....restomod or take back original,
those one-year-only '56 dual quads will be the dickens to find.
I sold my pair 4 years ago..

The only year with the idle bypass screw in the base...(rumor is a handful of '57s may have had them...but only a handful).

How are these "idle bypass screws" used? I have them on my '56 but not sure how to use them relative to the front idle screws. The carbs are running very well.

if things are running ok...then don't touch those screws. Most just tighten them shut and adjust the mixture as usual. There is a reason they were eliminated.
