Default Vin Question

If you ordered a 67 corvette back in the day with the 327-350 L-79 with air conditioning what would the suffix read HT or HP at the end. I see one on e-bay that has factory air they say and it reads HT, it's the 67 Marlboro Maroon Coupe. I see one at Pro Team and it reads HP.

I don't have air and mine reads HT, or is it just California cars that read HP with air.
Thanks for any input.

These are from the Corvette Black Book for 350hp.

HD - mt, ar
HP - mt, ac, ps
HT - mt

ar = air injection reactor

1967 NCRS Judging Guide lists HP as "Air Cond. & Power Steering" and the listing for HT is "Without A/C & P/S. Or - with either A/C or P/S."

The "HP" suffix was unique only to the L-79 combination with A/C AND power steering, as (only) that combination used a different 326 water pump, with a different hub press dimension.

I'm a member of the team that writes and revises the '67 NCRS Judging Guide; deal with 150+ pages of that detail and the logic and history behind each item often enough and you'll remember LOTS of things you wouldn't normally discuss.

THANKS for all your hard work. The latest NCRS 1967 judging guide is great. I would encourage anyone that has a 67 to get one.
