What's the value of 67 390HP driver?
I know its a vague question and for that vague answers are expected.
The car:
1967 corvette convertible
Trim tag and vin are original
Mostly original body panels, its had a couple of light pops in the front but nothing major.
Appears to be original 390 horse engine
Paint and interior are in good shape for a driver
Frame and suspension appear to be in good shape
Non restored, body hasn't been off the frame.
I don't know if the seller has any documentation so for the sake of the thread lets assume not.
What's a good price for a 390 HP Driver???
Thanks in advance.

colors matching the trim tag? a green on green car is worth way less then a black on red car. they are two extremes but you get the point. and how stock appearing is the car? a mostly stock looking car will be worth more then a harry hot rod custom

Tough call. If you could post some pictures, the experts on this forum will be able to give you a much better estimate. I've seen lots of people post pics of cars that are claimed to be mostly stock and then forum members are quick to point out many things, some major, that are not.
If you are asking what is a good price for a driver, $10. Okay, that's a great price.
What do I think it will cost to get you in one based on what you posted, about $70- $75K for a real big block. If you are patient, possibly a bit less. But there are so many factors such as the condition of the drivetrain, frame, etc.
I would absolutely hire an expert to spend a couple hours going over the car if you are serious about it. A few hundred $'s up front will likely save you thousands in the end. Anything an expert finds will also give you bargaining leverage.

I can park my car in a parking lot and not worry too much about it. Just my 2 cents.

Moving "whats it worth?" thread from For Sale classifieds to General discussion.

There is a difference between wanting to buy and your original post. Your original post indicates that you already found the vehicle you want and you're asking the members what it should be worth or how much you should pay. Opinions will vary a lot and your best way to see what you should pay is see what has sold or what is selling.
For those that post in the for sale/want to buy section, it's usually for those that have not located a vehicle and are looking for the vehicle.
Now if you said, wanting to buy a 67 vert with a 390 engine and you haven't found anything, then I don't think your post would have been moved.

Solid driver (2- car) with OEM engine and some form of unimpeachable documentation (authenticated tank sticker, shipper, window sticker, etc.) about $90K. That's what I sold mind for recently. Adjust downward significantly for lack of docs or questions to the authenticity of the engine block.

Try the app Corvette DNA. It will give you an idea. There is a big difference between driver and excellent condition for price. If it's a real nice driver, you may want to change to an excellent condition for your purposes.

Thanks for the suggestion. That app is great....also a bit addictive. Says the car I'm looking at is worth $62,000.
