How many 63 split windows had leather interior?

1,114 1963's had leather seats so you would figure about half that amount for split windows.

Got me wondering. If you order a convertible, is it more or less likely you would top it with leather or vinyl since every gawker will be staring at the inside from the sidewalk next to their jaws? If you ordered a coupe, were you more or less likely to spend the extra for leather since it's covered by the roof?

That would seem only to apply to the type of person who would order leather in an attempt to impress strangers, as opposed to those who would order leather because they like it or wanted it for themselves.

If that is the case, I would expect fewer convertables ordered with leather over 50 years ago to impress strangers, as compared to today's "look at me" mentality.
