Headligt Ring Extension attachment
Trying to decide on the best method of attaching the headlight ring extensions to the rings on a 62. Looks like it was attached with panel bonding adhesive or something like that . What works good??

If you are referring to the small chrome fender top extensions that are fastened to the headlight bezels on 61 and 62 Corvettes, the chrome extensions have two small round protrusions (rivet-like) on the underside so that when inserted into the two small holes in the bezels, they can be flared like a rivet.
It's possible some prior owner attached the extensions with some adhesive after they became loose or broke off.
