Rare C1 option - Heater tree
Attached is a pic of one of the rarest options ever installed on a C1. I believe that only one car ever received this particular option.
Yes, we has to cut the tree down to move the car, which is a 57. Car is not for sale, but we can make you a deal on the heater tree option.

That's not a factory option - it's aftermarket!

No that's a home made theft deterent!
Each time you park, you remove the engine and plant a small ash tree. Alternative to removing the coil wire.

Sorry to inform you but as rare as the option is it is not NCRS approved tree.
The NCRS has a little more bark, the color is just a little darker in color, the center stump must count 23 rings, and must be 32 and 1/4 inch in length when measured from the largest root.
You have a 10 point deduction on your hands.

None of you are close. Its missing a lot of parts but that is RPO-OAK; the rare 3 speed shifter on the steering column option known as, "three on the tree"... Its on the right hand side so its obviously an Australian conversion.

One should have ordered the tree-mounted bird house to complement the bird cage.

I think Frank takes the prize on this one!
