I was at Indy last week, to crew for Jim Glass and his 1965 Corvette, at the Sportscar Vintage Racing Association (SVRA) meet. Besides Jim's 65, we were also helping out with Bill Bogner's 66, and a little with Ray Zisa's 90 World Challenge Series Corvette.

Here's a look at most, if not all of the 63-67's, that were in attendance. The first car is Jim's 65, that was co-driven by Pete Halmser in the Pro/Am race. Bill's 66 is the dark blue one in the second picture. The white 63 with the blue stripe (#44) belongs to Forum member "C2racer", and the black 63 with the red and white stripe (#63) is Forum member "63Corvette".

Here's a look at some of the newer Corvettes, that raced at Indy last week. The final picture is this year's Indianapolis 500 Pace Car, that was also used to pace the Pro/Am race.

Finally, here are some various pictures from the weekend, including some racing action, and shots from the grid. Early Friday morning, we took Jim's 65 over to get some pictures of it in from on the Speedway Museum.

It's easy to do when the car in front of you brakes or slows unexpectedly. I don't know exactly what happened here though, but we are racing not running parade laps.
