Soft top install
Looking for knowledgeable shop to install an Al Knock soft top on my 66 convertible. I don't think I want to tackle this myself - BTW I'm in Fort Collins Colorado - but willing to travel for quality installation.
What should I have to pay for installation? Also what other items should I have replaced during the process?

I'm working on mine now (Black Forest CO). First time install for me. I'm being assisted with lots of email help/tips from a Forum member who's expert in this task & the Al Knoch video. Should you like to observe or participate, send me a PM. It is a Kee top, black Stayfast material -- presently doing benchwork detailing soft top frame, installing new tack strips, etc. Likely be early July for fabric & final assembly.

I did mine a few months ago and it really isn't as hard as it seems. Watch the video a dozen times and watch while you are working. Also there is an expert forum member on here to help where the video is lacking. Installation out here in Southern Cal runs about $750 so I figured a good airborne try was worth it.

Or you could just throw it in the back and head due South for a short 10.5 trip to El Paso and have Al's folks install it for you. It would sure make a nice road trip.
