Money no object - Top 5 Vettes I want
OK, assuming money is no object, and desire is the primary criteria, these are the 5 Corvettes that I would most like to own.
Listed in decreasing priority order. Price estimates are strictly what I think they would cost today.
5. Oops, I an actually only think of 4 Corvettes that have some special meaning / interest to me. There are plenty of Corvettes that I would like to own because of their value, but these four are the ones that jump out at me for sentimental reasons.
4. 1969 ZL-1 yellow coupe - I had the pleasure of judging this car at the NCRS Cypress Gardens meet in the early 1990s. What a beast it is.
Estimated price today = $1.5 million to $2 million
3. 1956 Prince Bertil of Sweden one-off car - I have been fascinated with this car ever since I first saw a color picture of it in the early 1970s. The car is currently undergoing a long term restoration in Sweden.
Estimated price today = $100,000 (as is, needing restoration)
2. 1962 Lemans Corvette race car - this one has a special place in my heart. Dale Pearman (who restored the car to Lemans race condition) was a dear friend of mine, and I would love to own this car. This is the only 1962 Corvette to have raced at Lemans.
Estimated price today = $750,000 to $1 million
1. 1958 semi-custom Corvette, last seen in Orlando, Fl area - I don't know where this car is, and I don't know the VIN of this car, but this is the Corvette that got my involved with Corvettes. It was a semi-custom, Daytona Yellow with Black hardtop, LT-1, 4 speed, 4.11 posi. The car was owned by a guy in the neighborhood where I grew up. He and I have been friends since then, 40 years worth.
Estimated price today = $25K to $50K (current condition and location unknown).

Mine, but the list could always change!
To have something classy to cruise! Kind of started the C2 three taillight treatment!
My favorite local car 1967 L88 Racer
It should have been produced!
1 of 2 Tube Framed Greenwood Racers
And the baddest bad boy Corvette!
But this list leaves me wanting more unlimited money!
And I hope this is one of those secret Make a Wish questions and I am surprised when they get delivered!

1. Frankie the Fink's '63 SWC
2. Frankie the Fink's '61
These two would be enough.....anything else is just pretending, anyway.

63 SWC fuelie in Daytona Blue
58 fuelie in silver blue with white coves

I know you said five, but while we're dreaming, I'll go for ten.
(and if I have enough money for those 10, I'll take a 2015 Z06 as a daily driver)

I see the theme for a movie
Which actors should we get to play you both?
Either the above or we get Frankie police protection from a stocker!
