Very sharp looking 56! I don't know what it's worth, but the general appearance and owner history are definite strong points.

One question though, what's the deal with the hood fitment as seen in that straight on front pic?....... It appears that the leading edge of the hood is raised up compared to the fender/nose surround.

The clean lines of the 56/57s are something I never tire of seeing. Wish I had one in the stable.

Let us know if you are successful in your pursuit.

Thanks, Doug

I have a verbal agreement on the car. I believe the hood was popped in that pic and that is why it looks like that.

I don't know how I missed this tread either. Anyway, great looking car, and mid 40's sure seems like a great deal. Wouldn't be too surprised to read that you had to go higher. Will you let us know? Thanks.

I got the message the other day on Facebook and the car has a new owner in Texas. I hate to see a local car leave the area, but you can't buy them all. Oh well my record stands at 2 - 2 on classic Vettes I have tried to buy. In the end it needed a paint job and some work around the gas door from a previous wreck so I backed off and it slipped away. Back on the hunt!
