Default 1967 repo parking lamp assembly

I read once there was one company only to purchase tail lamp assemblies from that were of good quality. Don't remember if it also pertained to front parking lamp assemblies or not. Knowing some of the repo items are not up to quality we expect for our monies what vendor or company have you used and are satisfied with???
Thanks for your advice,
Dennis

Might ask them if their park lights are still USA made. I have reason to believe they could manufactured off shore.

I just installed a pair of trim products park lights : the bulbs were very hard to install didn't want to lock in and the internal washer rattled in both of them. I was not impressed.

Funny you should say about the bulbs. The units on my car although having some pitting I was not pleased with how hard I had to twist the bulbs to remove or install. I mean every ounce I could muster just to get them to unlock. Of course I was wearing gloves as I thought for sure I would break the glass bulb. I will check this before installing and if the same there going right back. Thanks for the heads up.

They can develop some oxidation between the bulb base and socket over the years. I've used WD-40 and let it sit for a few days, and then been able to get them out. Once I had to use gloves, pliers to break the old bulb, and then needle nose pliers to grab the old base and twist it out!

I know there is a off shore brand parking light assembly on the market. I'm not sure if trim parts offers that version or not. I know Trim Parts were making them in USA.

Up until recently Trim Parts would not sell any products that were not made in the USA.
That has changed......

I carry both the imported and trim parts, we've a very good track record with both. You can save 15 percent off the Trim parts with the NEW15 discount code too!

Received my parking lights from Trim Parts on Saturday. Opened them right up and got to the bulb, same problem as existing lights being the bulb is ridiculously hard to get in or out.
Sent an e mail to Trim Parts Saturday and received my return authorization today. No explanation of the problem. Guess I'll stick with what I have!

This seems to be the response on repro parts today just replace or give you your money back with no intent to fix the problem until the returns get to some magic percentage rate then maybe they will look at fixing the part or stop making it.
