Your pic looks just like the one on Paragon's website.

That Paragon one is for a cast iron manifold. I don't think GM ever installed a stainless steel baffle under a dual inlet 780 (3247?) on an aluminum manifold mid-year - did they? So you might have to substitute/modify one from a Mr. Gasket aluminum baffle kit.

there was no reason to have one on a aluminum manifold as there was no "hot slot" like a cast iron intake. but whats the difference between the two carb base plates

hi, I was at my friendly mechanics shop last week , where he showed me where a screw from the base or a Hollley unscrewed and entered the motor , it cracked a 4 block main 350 block , but it makes one think.
while playing with Holleys from 30 plus years I have never had a screw unscrew , I would like to be safe.

Stake the screws like Holley and use lock tight. Problem solved

A Holley 4150/780 would have larger throttle bores than a 4160/600 and I assume the throttle opening in that 4160 spacer would be too small. Not insurmountable - they could be opened up to match with a drum sander on a drill.

Have you checked with Holley? You might want to go to their website.

I hate it when I overlook the obvious answer. Here - see if what you need is on this Holley website page.
