Repop c2 Front end ideas
Looking to replace a complete 67 front end! Car currently has a 70's style tilt front end on it now. I'm looking for anyone's input on who sells the best complete front end? The car is not a matching numbers car so I'm just wanting to make a street cruiser out of it. Any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

There are many threads on this topic. There are two press molded brands on the market. Sherminshine and Corvette Image.

Your target SHOULD be to build it as close to original as possible. You will never know when your thoughts will change from "street cruiser" to stock - but if you've done it the right way, at least you won't have to do it again - or the person that follows you.

Call Tom Keen at Keen Parts. He has some different options for you to consider on front clips. He is Forum Sponsor, 800-757-KEEN

I'm wanting to get it back to as close To original as I can , but I still have a budget. There are pictures of the car in my photos. I sold it to a friend that got the car running and driving and I now have a chance to get it back. You know how sellers remorse is!! He finally agreed to let me buy it back.. The car was wrecked in the front in the late 70's early 80's. That's when the current front end was installed. And the original motor was pulled out and sold! The car was then pushed in the garage and sat till I bought it in 2014. I'll give Tom a call to seen what's his options are. Thanks you

If there was some way for you to document that the gauge cluster in your car is the gauge cluster that the car was born with, you have a 6500 red line tach and an 80 lb oil pressure gauge...427/435. Have you checked the gas tank for the build sheet?? If you could document this car, you potentially have a very valuable car worth restoring to original condition.
I know, I know...another 427/435 found
Heck, for that matter it could have been a L88.

There's no tank sticker. . The gauges are original. I had a corvette collector come look at everything on the car. He has 25 original corvettes. He looked at everything, gauges, gas tank, core supports, stabilizer bars. He said it was a 427 car without a doubt. My friend took the car to a car show here. A local Chevy collector came up and knew the car from the 70's when it was wrecked. He said he was the one that bought the motor out of it back then, he says he still has the motor. He seemed very sure he has the motor. We haven't seen it yet to check the vin. It could be true or a bunch of bull ! We won't know till he lets us see it . The car also came with out a radio. But the guy that had it cut a round hole where the radio would be and put a tach in the hole!! Who knew back then these things would be worth so much
