Help Identifying '61 FI Generator
The generator is definitely not original on my '61 FI. I am trying to identify it to make sure I buy the right amp regulator. The only stamping I can find on the generator is"9015". There are no tags or anything else on the generator. Does this number give an indication? Thanks

9015 doesn't mean anything. Front and rear mount plates should be cast iron and be tall standoff from bolts and small holes for mounting bolts (no bushings). Front plate should have nubs at about 9 and 3. Pulley should be 4.11" in diameter with integral fan. That's a start. What is production date of the car? Unless extremely early, tag should be 1102268.

The generator is not original as I think it was replaced prior to my ownership. Don't know if its a piece together or not. I recently burned the points in the regulator and thought it may have to due with having a 30 amp regulator. The generator is also not working after the points fried. Not sure if one may have caused the other.
It's an April car.
